Risks of reducing the operational properties of fasteners used in metal structures of infrastructure facilities
The article presents the main regulatory requirements for high-strength fasteners for metal structures of infrastructure facilities. The issue of applying anti-corrosion coatings to high-strength fasteners at existing Russian plants and the possibility of meeting the demand for these fasteners is considered. It is proposed to carry out constant monitoring of the supplied high-strength fasteners for indicating in the accompanying documents the quality of mechanical properties of products that have passed tests after applying a protective anti-corrosion coating.

A proposal on the creation of a publication by the fastener community on the selection and quality guidelines for fasteners has been submitted for discussion. The purpose of the publication is to improve the technical literacy of buyers.
