Increasing the sustainability of innovative development of industrial enterprises based on risk-oriented R&D planning
This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of a risk-based approach to planning research and development in the industrial sector.
The need to integrate risk management into the innovation management system in a highly uncertain external environment is substantiated. Based on an analysis of modern methods, a conceptual model for assessing, monitoring, and minimizing risks in innovative projects is proposed.
Modern solutions for fixing and sealing
This article addresses current issues arising during the operation of threaded, flanged and cylindrical connections under vibration, extreme temperatures and aggressive environments. Anaerobic solutions are considered, allowing for increased reliability, durability, and maintainability of equipment components without altering their design.
Сlinching or welding: which is more cost-effective for modern manufacturing?
Clinching is a thin-sheet metal joining technology that, for production volumes exceeding 50,000 points per month, saves up to 60% of the budget on operating costs, accelerates production up to 1.5 times, and provides a return on investment of 1 month. A strategic, cost-effective solution for production facilities with manual and stationary welding equipment is presented: the implementation of the PRESS-STEEL® сlinching tool. For example, сlinching productivity significantly exceeds that of welding methods due to a shorter work cycle. An economic analysis is provided. Examples of PRESS-STEEL® tool application in various production facilities are shown.
New Russian fasteners for wooden structures
A new universal product has been introduced that can be used equally well in a wide variety of structures made from a variety of materials. It is primarily intended for use in hybrid structures: concrete-wood and metal-wood, as well as for wood-wood connections. Currently, it is the only fastener that is standardly produced in Russia and, based on calculations, is suitable for the construction of large-span wood structures.
Threaded fasteners for lightweight metal structures from Tulstor
Fasteners offered by the manufacturing and trading company Tulstor are presented. Among the company's products is a line of modern fasteners for wooden structures, the production of which was first mastered in Russia by this company.
A new concept for organizing production facilities for applying zinc flake coatings
Interest in zinc-flame coating in Russia has recently increased significantly. Observations indicate that poor decisions are being made regarding equipment selection. The use of automated zinc-flame coating lines has a number of significant limitations. Based on research and economic calculations, it has been concluded that the pursuit of productivity and automation through the purchase of such lines is a false goal. The optimal solution is to create modular production facilities.
